Rivers on the Rock: The story of the Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements in Gibraltar (D.P Cumming)

Rivers on the Rock: The story of the Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements in Gibraltar (D.P Cumming)

By Douglas P. Cumming.

About the author: Douglas Cumming came to faith in the 1970s's Jesus movement and became involved with Bethel Tabernacle as a deacon. Over the years, he contributed to the life and worship of many of the Pentecostal churches mentioned in this book, as well as the Methodist Church, where he trained as a Lay Preacher. He is a regular contributor to GBC radio's Pause for Reflection. In secular life, he worked in the editorial department of Panorama Daily.

This book illustrates what happens when we flow with God's rivers of purpose fearlessly. From God's voice reaching the exotic bazaar-filled Tangier to historic movements of God among the qauint colonial town of Gibraltar, half a century ago. You will read of moments of extraordinary guidances, unexpected miracles, dreams, encounters with God and divine friendships as well as fallouts, failures and challenging seasons of 'heresies'.
It is a book that every aspiring minister, or missionary, should read.
