Our 2024 Calendar focuses on the works of local artist Leni (Elena) Mifsud (1906 - 1989). Leni had a love of art from an early age and her talent was recognised from the moment she began to paint. Aged 23 she set out from Gibraltar to build her career as an artist, first in Malaga, then Madrid. She returned to the Rock when the Spanish Civil War broke out. Leni was evacuated to Madeira during the Second World War, where she left her mark and produced a large volume of her work. This Calendar features views of Gibraltar, Barbate and Still Life paintings.
